What do we need from you?
- A current NMC registration and a minimum of 12 months post registration experience
- Relevant experience if you want to work in a community team (either CMHT for RMN's or with District or Community Nursing for RGN's)
- We ask you to work a minimum of three shifts per month
- If you are looking to work in a mental health environment then you will be required to undertake the Trust's 'Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression' (PMVA) course and it is a condition that you successfully complete all aspects of this; if this is not achieved you will not be able to commence working. This course requires a level of fitness and ability to complete - please ensure that you have read the attached information sheet and watched the accompanying video before applying.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
You will be required to undertake a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course, and it is a condition of your employment that you successfully complete all aspects of this course; if this is not achieved you will not be able to commence working in the post.

- Have a good working knowledge of Clinical Governance and the National Service Frameworks.
- Understand the principles of rehabilitation.

- Expanded role including venepuncture, IV drugs, Cannulation, Defibrillation.
Additional requirements

- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English to a standard which enables the post holder to carry out the full range of duties and responsibilities of the role effectively.
- A level of fitness and ability to participate and complete PMVA, Breakaway training and Manual Handling (practice and theory).
