As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Agincare, you will be part of a welcoming and specialized support team working at Agincourt Care Home. The role is focused on delivering person-centred care, ensuring residents receive personal care including bathing, dressing, and oral care while promoting independence and choice. You will also participate in care reviews to ensure care plans meet residents' needs and administer medication safely. Additionally, you will engage in social activities with residents, leading trips and engagements within the care home. What is required from you? - A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK

  • NVQ Level 2 - Health and Social care qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 - Health and Social Care qualification or be working towards
  • Bank Senior Care Assistant role, for this role you must have the flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as and when required
  • Daytime shifts are from 8am to 8pm and night shifts are from 8pm to 8am

A day in the life of a Bank Senior Care Assistant - Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence

  • Review -You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
  • Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way
  • Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
  • Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
