- Transportation and Care of patients, staff, goods and equipment
- To drive Trust vehicles under normal road traffic conditions
- Assists patients as required e.g. administers medical gasses, first aid.
- To drive Trust vehicles as directed including; Advanced skills for minibus/ ambulance driving
- Transports patients for appointments and treatments at a variety of locations
- Transportation of, staff, goods and equipment at a variety of locations
- Moving and Lifting patients in wheelchairs, stretchers with aids

Qualifications
Essential
- Driving experience of a range of vehicles to include C1 category vehicles
- 3 GCSE's to include Maths and English (Grade C or above) Or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Knowledge of Island topography
Desirable
- Driving experience of a range of vehicles to include C1 and D1 category vehicles
- First Aid at Work Level 3 QCF (or equivalent qualification)
- Ambulance D1 BTEC LEVEL 2 in Ambulance Driving (or equivalent qualification)
- Paediatric Basic Life support (or equivalent qualification)
- Evidence of community work (this is desirable rather than essential)
- Oxygen Administration(or equivalent qualification)
Physical
Essential

Aptitudes
Essential
