Our Trust is looking for experienced Healthcare Support Workers with a minimum of 12 months experience in a Hospital, Residential or Care home setting, who are able to work effectively in a variety of different Adult wards and departmentsand as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be committed to demonstrating our Trusts ICARE values.

After a qualifying period, our Bank Healthcare Support Worker role offers a variety of shifts including early, late, long day and night shifts with flexibility to support a positive and flexible work life balance.

  • Care certificate
  • NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care
  • Nurses and Allied Health Professionals with lapsed registrations

Training & Qualifications

Essential

  • Literacy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D-G, 3-6).
  • Numeracy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D-G, 3-6).
  • The Care Certificate

Desirable

  • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent or above in Health or Health and Social Care or working towards an award
  • ESOL level 2 or equivalent (if English not first language)

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience in a public facing/customer care role or environment
  • A minimum of 12 months care experience

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a Health/Health and Social Care role
  • Previous NHS experience / Understanding of NHS/Social care systems

Skills & Ability

Essential

  • Good written and verbal communication in the English language
