Midwifery Matron

Support the Director of Midwifery in the organisation, development and provision of maternity services within North Cumbria. Being responsible and accountable for the organisation and delivery of care within the designated maternity unit and local community. Ensure delivery of high standards of care with particular responsibility for standard setting and audit.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Midwife with current active registration.
  • Postgraduate development in midwifery
  • Teaching certificate or equivalent.
  • IT skills

  • Leadership / management certificate or equivalent.
  • PMA
  • Masters Degree
