Band 3 - Clinical Support Worker -Michelham Ward - EDGH

Promote dignity, respect and privacy in the delivery of care duties

To undertake patients' vital signs, blood pressure, pulse, pulse oximetry, height, weight, neurological assessment, ECG, respirations, urinalysis, blood glucose, pregnancy testing and escalate concerns in line with policy

Recognition of deteriorating patient and escalation process

Provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings

You must be able to work as part of a team, use your own initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills, contributing fully as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. We will provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship and clinical supervision on the unit and are committed to the professional development of all staff. Teamwork is an integral part of this unit with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patient.
