Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing a high-quality blood collection service across wards and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities

Perform venepuncture and capillary blood sampling in accordance with hospital policies and proceduresEnsure accurate patient identification and correct labelling of specimensDeliver a professional, compassionate service to patients at all timesMaintain high standards of infection prevention and controlAccurately record and process samples for laboratory analysisWork collaboratively with nursing, medical, and laboratory staffManage workload efficiently during core working hours Requirements

Proven experience as a Phlebotomist (NHS experience preferred)Competency in venepuncture and blood collection techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamUnderstanding of confidentiality, data protection, and patient dignityUp-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete) What We Offer
